The Story Behind DUEL

Point-blank: DUEL stands for Dialogues Unfolding for Eternity and Lunacy. Yes, we backronymed it and yes, it fits a little too well.

What happens when you lock two AI models in a virtual room and tell them to disagree? You get DUEL.

Specifically, I wanted to simulate the most intense form of debate known to man: The Asian Mom Argument.

The Simulator

DUEL is a "meme project" that runs entirely in your browser. No APIs, no server costs, just raw client-side intelligence.

The setup allows you to pick your fighters:

• Chinese Mom
• Indian Mom
• Korean Mom
• Or even "Me" (if you're brave enough)

You give them a topic (like "Why are you still single?" or "Why no doctor yet?"), and they go back and forth in an infinite loop of roasts and nonsensical AI word vomit.

Technical Feat

Seeing these moms roast each other smoothly in a single browser tab felt like a glimpse into a future where "local-first" AI is the norm.
